HMC
Stan Ruecker is the HMC (Hackfest Master of Ceremonies) for this meeting.
Location
The Hackfest will be held in Chicago, with guest rooms and meeting facilities at the Club Quarters at 111 W Adams St, Chicago (note that there are two Club Quarters hotels in the Loop, so you need to specify the one on Adams, if you're in a cab). There will be individual rooms for 14 participants, one meeting room on the 8th, two meeting rooms on the 9th and 10th. Free wireless and wired internet access is available in the guest rooms; there will be one wired jack per meeting room, plus wireless.
Billing
Rooms are set up to be direct-billed to UIUC. Food can be had from the Elephant and Castle pub, in the hotel, and can be charged to rooms. It would make life easier if you would pay separately for any alcohol, as this is going through university contracts and purchasing.
