Jitter

Geoffrey: Collections environment. Create a collection, plug in a spider to drop things in. Run cleaners on collection. Aggregate it, send it off to a tool. Maybe also an editing environment; so collection need not be spidered or scraped. Not a publishing environment (Fedora for that), nor an analytical environment. Collection does have versioning. Rails, mySQL.

TAPoR

Does MONK want to avail itself of what Geoff calls TAPoR's "Swiss army knife" tools? Flash badges. Likewise, does MONK have Web services we're willing to expose to TAPoR?

CFI Proposal

Create a "partnership" between MONK and TAPoR.

Outcomes

  • Workflow conversations between Amit and Geoff (and others)
  • Amit and Stefan working on exchanging Web service calls
  • Use MONK information for comparison studies
  • Can TAPoR tools become components of the MONK workbench
  • Description of an ongoing relationship between MONK and TAPoR
  • Follow up call in a month or two (June)
